Our agriculture has undergone significant changes over the past 50 years. From the origins of our Wolfskuhlenhof as a purely horticultural enterprise to dairy farming and pig fattening, we cultivate around 70ha of agriculture at Wolfskuhlen. In addition to our main crops including:

winter wheat for bread flour production
 malting barley for malthouses
 rape for oil mills
 linseed for oil mills and
barley and oat as catch crops for animal feed production

we also utilise on a limited scale a number of grassland areas for pasturing and haymaking.

The responsible use and treatment of soil, water and the environment as our production factors is ensured by carrying out an annual nutrient assessment of fertilisers use and the economic threshold principle applied to pest control.
Our Lower Rhine agriculture may not be the granary of our country. However, on the premise of

"use it or lose it"

our crops contribute to ensuring steady earnings of our operation.
In addition, we use our technology increasingly to take on landscape conservation services for third parties.
