"Wasserhäuschen - Wolfskuhlen"

Built presumably because of the consequences of two floods of the century in 1830 and 1845 when the nearby river Rhine burst its banks, the "Wasserhäuschen" (Water House) is located on a hill in the immediate vicinity of the Wolfskuhlenhof, serving as a refuge for cattle.
With a history typical for buildings in the Lower Rhine region, it was used for a number of different agricultural purposes until its structure eventually came at risk of falling into ruin.

In 2007, we set about renovating and converting this building to be able to use it in the future for a variety of purposes.

Embedded in a typical rural environment on the Lower Rhine, with old trees in a breathtaking setting of meadows and lakes, the "Wasserhäuschen" provides a special venue for exclusive cultural, hospitable and multimedia events.

Our efforts of upgrading the "Wasserhäuschen" have afforded it a "high class standard", which combines the character of "old stables" with the options of exclusive utilisation to form a perfect symbiosis.

Our "Wasserhäuschen" is available:

Concerts, readings, talks

Company events, conferences

Exhibitions

Exclusive celebrations
